Water in Israel contains high levels of calcium and magnesium. Calcium in the water itself has no harmful effect on people, but the limescale layer that builds up on heating elements and inside pipework causes significant economic and operational damage.

The analysis is based on carbon emissions data (CO2e) and the Ecoinvent database, helping identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and supporting continuous improvement in product design.
