Why HydroFLOW
Physical limescale treatment with no contact with the water
01
External installation
The system is installed on the pipework, with no pipe cutting, no changes to infrastructure and no direct contact with the water.
02
No consumables
The system operates continuously with no salt, chemicals or filter media, and no need for replacement or refilling.
03
No change to water composition
The treatment does not remove minerals from the water or change their composition, preserving the water’s original properties.
04
Monitoring and control
Optional continuous monitoring of system activity, providing operational indication and control over its performance.
Other treatment methods
HydroFLOW
Mostly require intervention in the pipework
External installation – no pipe cutting
May require consumable materials
No chemicals, salt or consumables
Require ongoing maintenance
No maintenance required
Some change the water composition
No change to water composition
Varies by treatment method
Treats existing limescale and reduces new build-up
Not always available with a green-label certification
Holds a green-label certification
Not every solution is credit-approved
Approved for credit under SI 5281 green-building standard
Water Savings
Water savings through fewer backwash cycles and reduced concentration cycles.
Extended Equipment Life
Equipment operates efficiently and lasts longer, thanks to protection against limescale.
Chemical Material Optimization
Systems require little to no chemical materials for protection against damage.
Reduced Downtime
Downtime required for cleaning is significantly shorter.
Improved Energy Efficiency
Improved heat transfer and reduced limescale contribute to more efficient operation and energy savings.
Beyond homes and offices
Same technology, wider applications
HydroFLOW systems are also applied worldwide in complex commercial and industrial systems — cooling towers, desalination plants, wastewater treatment and compliance with the green building standard.
Water treatment systems with optional online monitoring
Every commercial or industrial HydroFLOW system can be connected to the HydroKNCT communication controller. The controller transmits system data to the Hydropath Care platform, providing online indication, alerts and operational information.

Please verify with the professional team: electrode lifespan (~15 years), polyphosphate cartridge replacement frequency (6–12 months), and the “contact with metal particles” description are based on general characteristics of these technologies, not a direct test of a specific competing product.
FAQ
Looking for a solution to your limescale problem?
Is HydroFLOW a limescale filter?
No. The system does not filter the water, does not remove minerals from it, and requires no cartridge. It is installed externally on the pipework and treats and reduces limescale build-up.
Does the system remove calcium and magnesium from the water?
No. Calcium and magnesium remain in the water; treatment focuses on mineral behaviour and reducing limescale build-up.
Does installation require cutting the pipe?
No. Installation is fully external on the existing pipework, with no cutting, welding or infrastructure change.
Like a filter, do you need to replace materials?
No. There are no cartridges, salt or consumable filter media that need ordering and regular replacement.
How can I know the system is connected and working?
Through monitoring and building-control connectivity options (BMS or Hydropath Care) that provide operational indication, alerts and reports on the unit and signal activity, depending on model and configuration.
Can the system contribute to green-building scoring?
It is suitable for integration into green-building projects and may contribute to ת”י 5281 scoring, subject to the standard’s requirements and the project’s certification body approval.
