Industrial challenges

What is threatening your system’s efficiency?

Industrial water systems face a range of challenges that directly impact efficiency and operational costs.

Limescale in boilers and heat exchangers

Hard limescale buildup reduces heat transfer, increasing energy usage and maintenance requirements.

Corrosion and pipe degradation

Aggressive water chemistry leads to leaks, system failures and high repair costs.

Biofouling in closed-loop systems

Bacteria and biofilm can affect heat exchanger performance and process water quality.

Inefficient filtration and sediment buildup

Poor filtration leads to clogging, excessive backwashing and higher water consumption.

Excessive chemical usage

Reliance on descalers, biocides and corrosion inhibitors increases operational costs and environmental fine risks.

How it works

A long-term, chemical-free solution

The HydroFLOW i Range offers a long-term, cost-effective solution. It transmits an electric field through the piping network, causing mineral ions to cluster together before they form hard limescale. This allows minerals to remain suspended in the water rather than adhering to surfaces, reducing limescale accumulation and optimising system performance.

Unlike traditional methods relying on chemicals, water softeners or high-maintenance filtration systems, the technology operates continuously throughout the entire water system — even when water is standing still.

Improves system efficiency

Helps maintain optimal water flow and heat transfer in industrial processes.

Reduces downtime and maintenance costs

Minimises equipment scaling, corrosion and biofouling.

Supports sustainable operations

No chemicals, eco-friendly and low maintenance.

Installation details

Installation tailored to your system’s requirements

Installation of the HydroFLOW i Range is external to the pipe, with no contact with the water. The optimal position is determined following a system assessment by our technical team.

Best location

Location depends on your specific water system setup. Our technical team will assess your system and provide tailored guidance for optimal performance.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the i Range

How does HydroFLOW work?
HydroFLOW uses a chemical-free signal to reduce limescale buildup, biofouling and sediment accumulation. It also gradually dissolves existing limescale, improving system efficiency without altering water chemistry.
Does HydroFLOW work on all pipe materials?
Yes, it works on copper, PVC, PEX, stainless steel and all other piping materials.
Where should the unit be installed?
Placement depends on the specific system. In most cases, HydroFLOW should be installed on the cold feed to the heat exchanger or key equipment for maximum protection. For complex systems, our technical team will assess your setup and determine the ideal location.
How do I know it’s working?
Commercial and industrial models have red and green LED indicators — green for power, red for signal strength.
How long does the unit last?
With no moving parts, units are highly durable. Industrial models come with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, but many last over 15 years.
Does flow rate affect performance?
No. HydroFLOW works effectively regardless of water flow rate and even treats standing water.
